Sharpsburg Take Out in Sharpsburg

I'll write a longer review later but FOR NOW just know that I just had the best wings I've ever had in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. And wings are sort of my thing.

Fries are amazing I ordered salt and pepper wings were burnt and dry and disgusting. I def won’t be back

Food was not cooked well also seasoning on chicken was very light If any and I did order flavored wings also delivery driver was very late with order almost like warm wen arrived

So to start super over priced. It's $18.00+ for 13 wings with a side of fries...I don't know about other locations but the one in the Sharpsburg is just horrible. It started off really great, I didn't mind paying their prices because it was worth it. About 3 months of being open, the quality started decreasing. It was funny, when I picked up my food, the cook ( I think he runs this location) was telling me about how they buy great quality food.... Which means nothing because they have no cooking standards.... Save your money!!!!

Called to order food for delivery and was put on hold for 10 minutes for someone to tell me they don’t deliver 10 mins which is 5 miles from their location. Worst customer service ever.

Waited an hour and fifteen minutes with a no-show delivery. Called only to receive an immediate dial tone three times. Once they finally picked up I was told I needed to wait another half hour. No explanation, no apologies. Waited another forty-five minutes and still no delivery. Tried to call to cancel and again it took 8 calls straight to dial tone to finally get to a person who didn’t care in the slightest that we hadn’t received our order yet and were canceling.If I was told beforehand that there would be a wait that would be one thing, but I wasn’t given any time frame. I even verified we were in their delivery range.I called two other branches to try and get in touch with this Sharpsburg branch (one had the same dead-end dial tone two times in a row). The other that answered simply said “We’re not connected. Gotta go.” And then immediately hung up.I’m giving two stars because I’ve had their food before and it was decent.

The menu is ridiculous. But... The flavors are spectacular, once you've made a choice. My wife liked the wings crunchy, I thought they were overcooked. Great prices and great sauces, will be back for more.

Food is great. That said we're in the middle of a pandemic and not one employee has a mask on. Not the girl at the counter or any of the cooks (you can see back into the kitchen).Won't be back and have reported on the county website too.

Formally ate here daily. Since new manager took over food quality has gone down hill and customer loyalty means nothing. Haven’t gotten one order right in weeks. I for one will not be frequenting this establishment again.

Big Shot Bob’s (BSB’s) is a quality joint that serves up great wings. They’re always quick, even on Super Bowl Sunday, and the wings always hit the spot!

Wings are very good, cooked well, tasted wonderful , I got a sandwich, steak n green peppers and hot peppers, cheese, it was 😜all the worthwhile and delicious,...good job big shot Bob's #1..........

This review is based upon the service provided at the Sharpsburgh Big Shot Bobs and not the food. I have called several times and simply nobody answers the phone and this is after 3-4 attempts. They need to have somebody working the phones and cooking as I have taken my business to other places after failing to place an order. This is during lunch so it possible it is different during dinner hours.If you are able to place an order, the Wings are amazing and probably the best around.

High prices low quality food prices do not reflect the quality opt bacon only had 4 pieces of bacon on it very disappointing

BSB in beechview is my favorite wing house due to the service and French fries- this location just tied them though. Great service, the wings were fantastic-the fries were delicious but the wings...they were cooked and sauces to perfection!!! I will now be bragging on this location as well.

Chicken has way to much sauce and weather

My husband and I stopped here last night as this location isn't too far from our neck of the woods and I really wanted wings. Place was extremely clean and staff were super nice and welcoming! The gentleman even brought our food out to our car for us. The wings and bacon ranch fries were fantastic! Needless to say, we will be returning. Thanks BSB for going above and beyond!

I ordered at 445 and I’ve waited over an hour when they said 30 mins. Also many customers who seem to know the workers were served before me. Not happy.

Cold wings, salad horrible if u want Steakums u can buy at store,high prices, not worth the money, will nrver order again!

The sauce variety is vast but the thing is you can order the same sauce and it never tastes the same! Usually the more sauce in the container the worse off you are, leading to my second point.Most recent experiences (at this particular location). You're going in knowing you're paying a premium for wings at a wing place. You'd expect them to be cooked right but at least the last 2 times they basically fried the meat right off them. Even laying in a river of hot sauce in the container, they had a crunch like biting into a potato chip!

Love the Steel City wings. Everytime I go that is what I get. Also get the boneless barbecue for my friend. Great customer service. I have been there many times and will keep going. They have my customer loyalty for life. 😉

Pretty good. I wasnt as impressed with these compared to the 15108 location...but, I ate there and ordered these to go.****edit. I ordered again and they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. A+++++

Best cheese bacon fries around! Good management team. Wings are a little priced, but their flavors are amazing. Especially with a bed of fries.

Usually I rate this place highly, however this time I waited almost 2 hrs for some damn chicken wings. Needless to say for all that I could have went to the store, fried my own and ate in that 2 hrs. I get that they can get busy however a courtesy call would be nice. Honestly might be more than two hrs I am actually still waiting. I doubt I will order again. Sad because they were my go to when I ordered. Maybe I'll have better luck when they one opening in my area comes.

I about gave up on finding a great wing in Pittsburgh. Then I stumbled upon BSB's and well, I ate wings threes days in a row. I tried several flavors and enjoyed them all. The biggest win for them over other shops is their wings are actually nice and meaty, yet still crispy on the outside and juicy inside. They will probably be my favorite for a long time to come.

Called for a pick up order was told order would be ready in a hour. 1 hour 1”20 mins later order not ready. Cash register not working and he wants me wait while he fixes when I have exact amount Then worker poured dry season enough to fill a small bowl which I poured into a bowl when I got home. I do not recommend this location

Excellent wings. Always a longer wait than told, but not excessive and wigs are worth it. Hoagies are also above average. Friendly staff.

These are the best wings ever!!! Just wish you guys had more of a selection of flavors on Grubhub, but still loving the wings cooked perfectly crispy

Ordered the Cajun garlic (dry). My chicken lacked a garlic or Cajun flavor. The chicken was also dry. I also ordered bacon ranch cheese fries. The fries had a good taste. The bacon was over cooked. This is my first experience with BSB. Very disappointed especially when BSB is supposed to specialize in wings.

The wings were GOOD but extremely overpriced. Most local bars do just as well for a third of the price. For the price of these wings, I assumed they were full size. Spoiler alert, they aren’t. But they did taste good which is why they’re getting more than 1 Star. Would give 3, but the bed of fries they were on tasted days old and microwaved.

First off, I've had better. With that out of the way, what can be said about Big Shot Bob's. Well for being a restaurant which specialize in chicken wings, they are horrible. Most of the time they are dry and flavorless, the only taste come from the dusts, sauces, and toppings added. Don't get me wrong, the sauces and etc are good but the chicken should be good too. I can't really recommend this place, but some people seem to like it.
